Cash Money Throwing Grammy Party for Lil Wayne
When your label’s biggest star is up for eight Grammy Awards including the album of the year, I guess it calls for a special celebration. Rick Ross Responds to 50 Cent
Miami-based rapper Rick Ross isn’t waving the white flag after 50 Cent released an online video interview with the mother of Ross’s 2-year-old son, William Roberts III. In the interview, Tia Kemp call Ross out for renting his jewelry, leasing his cars, and drawing out a child support battle for over two years. Later in the clip, 50 Cent takes Kemp and a friend shopping. Kemp is allegedly working on a tell-all book about her life with Ross.
“You gotta understand, she has never made more than $300 a week in her life. Would I stand between her making a few dollars with this monkey? Of course not, go up there, accomplish whatever you feel you need to accomplish, he’s never hurt a f***ing bird, a fly. I’m pretty sure you’ll be surrounded by cops. He’s an informant. Just as a reminder, he doesn’t count in the South.”
“We not gonna let Curly distract us from the fact ‘Mafia Music’ ended his career. The man has not charted a Number One record in Lord knows how long.” Ross added, “He makes Dr. Dre look like a ****. I got Cool and Dre. Eminem is a genius. The worst move he could’ve done is be affiliated with such a monkey. 50 Cent is a parody of hip-hop. I’m speaking from the streets.”

Jennifer Hudson going on Tour and Jamie Foxx Wants In

Jennifer Hudson’s return to public life after the deaths of three family members last October seems to be complete. After performing a stellar, albeit pre-taped, national anthem at the Super Bowl on Sunday (February 1st), the Oscar winner and Grammy nominee has her sights set on a national tour.
Actor and singer Jamie Foxx, who sent Hudson an inspirational text message after her Super Bowl performance, has already volunteered to tour with his Dreamgirls co-star.
“She’s doing well,” Foxx told Entertainment Tonight. “She says she wants to get back into the flow of things. Hopefully, we will go out on tour together and, you know, heal the world with our music.”

Jennifer Hudson Lip Synched the National Anthem
by YaDig Staff on Feb.03, 2009, under Entertainment
Ok I thought I was crazy but when I saw Jennifer Hudson open her mouth to sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl I said out loud ’she is lip singing’ and now it comes out that I wasn’t crazy. But it wasn’t her idea. According to Ricky Minor, the show’s producer, it was he who insisted that Jennifer record the Star Spangled Banner a week earlier and lip synch the performance
“There’s too many variables to go live,” Minor told MTV. “I would never recommend any artist go live, because the slightest glitch would devastate the performance.” It was Hudson’s first performance since the murders of her mother, brother and nephew back in October of last year, but the decision to lip-synch the performance probably had little to do with Hudson’s tragedy. “That’s the right way to do it.” Minor said.
This is a normal practice and the only time I have a problem with an artist lip synching any performance is if I dont know whether they can sing or not. Jennifer Hudson has no problem singing so I could care less if she lip synched the performance or not. It was just good to see her come out and perform.

Jennifer Hudson Performing the National Anthem
by YaDig Staff on Feb.02, 2009, under Entertainment
Jennifer Hudson absolutely killed the the National Anthem last night at the Super Bowl
Maybe cause I am in my twenties and I am black but I just dont get Bruce Springsteen so much so that at half time I turned to ABC and watched Wipe Out Couch Potatoes vs Cheerleaders. Funny as Hell
And I must admit that I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter and didn’t wake up until Larry Fitzgerald was sprinting into the end zone to give the Cardinals the lead. I was really thinking that the game was over in the 3rd cause the Cardinals were showing no damn life.
So a big yadig to the Cardinals for making that comeback and an even bigger yadig to Big Ben and Santonio Holmes who during the week admitted he was a former dope dealer. Only in America can we get a Black President and a former dope dealer turned Superbowl MVP.

Jennifer Hudson may not be performing at the Presidential Inauguration but she will be singing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl Feb. 1. Making it her first public appearance/performance since the murders of her mother, brother, and nephew.
My only question is why the Super Bowl and not the Inauguration. I am guessing the Inauguration people were asking for a free performance.
