Its time for a Recap.  (Are you as tired of this sh*t as I am?)  Anyway a few days ago we found out from the all mighty TMZ.com that the person behind the Chris Brown Rihanna fight might have been Tina Davis, Chris Brown’s manager and alleged lover, sending him text messages.  Police report that the text messages was from a former lover looking to “hook up” later that night.

Ok now Tina Davis has responded thru her attorney’s about alleged situation.  According to MTV.com

“The relationship between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown is that of manager and client. There has never been any other relationship. The rumors in circulation are false. There are no e-mails between Ms. Davis and Mr. Brown of the type which have been described in media reports.

“If the source of the false rumors is identified, legal action will be taken. Given the nature of the legal issues affecting Mr. Brown, Ms. Davis will not be making any further statements.“

Oh and by the way Chris Brown has withdrawn his name from the Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards.  Good move my dude.

Ok I took the weekend off from posting stuff on Chris Brown and Rihanna and I feel like its my duty to at least let you know what went down in the past couple days…in the words of other people of course.  TMZ.com reported that Chris Brown wants to make a deal with the DA but he doesn’t want jail time…

We’re told Brown’s people have consulted with outside legal eagles — including law school professors — who have said Rihanna’s own aggressiveness takes it out of the felony category. Sources say Rihanna was the first one to strike — slapping and striking Brown “numerous times” while he was driving, after seeing the text message from another woman. And Rihanna was fighting Brown as he punched and hurt her. We’re told much of this is reflected in the official police report based on what Rihanna told cops. As a result, they say, this is not a case that demands a felony plea.

On the other side, there are plenty of cases in which the woman engages the man in a fight but the jury convicts the male because it was an unfair fight and the man could have walked away. The photographs of Rihanna — the most graphic of which have not been seen by the public — demonstrate Brown’s superior strength. Add to that the fact that Brown had no significant injuries and it presents problems for him.

Perhaps worse for Brown, sources tell TMZ Rihanna told cops he had beaten her before and the violence had been escalating.

And there’s this. According to the detective’s note filed with the search warrant papers, Brown sent a text message to Rihanna’s assistant in which he apologized for what he had done to Rihanna and said he was getting help. That would be admissible in court and extremely damaging — as a legal admission.

Then we hear that Rihanna started the whole altercation by letting the island girl in her out by going upside Chris’ head with her shoe while he was driving.

 

Chris Brown lashed out at Rihanna after she hit him with her shoes, it has been claimed.

Welford Hart – who lives with Brown’s mother – alleged that the singer was provoked by theUmbrella hitmaker.

Hart told the New York Post newspaper, “When you take off your shoes and beat someone with high heels, that’s going to hurt. He reacted and tried to get her to stop hitting him, but she kept screaming.”

Now we are hearing from Hollyscoop.com that what TMZ.com had released before about Rihanna claiming that Chris Brown had hit her before and he had been increasingly violent were false.

 

A source involved in the investigation is speaking to Hollyscoop exclusively about the details surrounding the night of the alleged attack, and what Rihanna really told police in her statement. Hollyscoop has the scoop on never before published details surrounding the Chris Brown and Rihanna assault investigation below…

New Details Surrounding Police Report 

Contrary to what sites like TMZ had previously reported, Rihanna did not tell police that she was the victim of “escalating violence.” TMZ reported: “Multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ, the night of the attack Rihanna told cops she was the victim of escalating violence — and the perp was Brown.”

However, a source involved in the investigation tells Hollyscoop exclusively that in the reports, Rihanna confessed there has only been two other incidences in which she felt threatened, but this was the first time Chris retaliated. Rihanna told investigators that the first incident occurred in Europe three months ago. It was a verbal dispute, which led to Rihanna slapping Chris Brown. In self-defense, Chris put her up “against the wall” and told her to calm down. 

The second incident occurred when the couple was visiting Rihanna’s family in her native Barbados back in August 2008. She described the incident as a verbal dispute, and added that no one was assaulted. According to the source involved in the investigation, the night of the alleged attack, Rihanna attacked Chris after reading a textmessage sent to him by a former lover. 

The situation escalated and resulted in Chris’ alleged attack on Rihanna. Chris turned himself over to the LAPD on February 8 and was booked and later released on $50,000 bail. 

The Call for Help

Although initial reports suggested that a female made the call to police, according to the report, it was a Rabbi who lives in the area. The unidentified man reportedly heard the confrontation outside and called 911, not knowing he was about to make a report about R&B’s biggest stars. He came outside when he heard shouting. “She was screaming out of control and he was extremely calm,” read his statement, adding that Rihanna “was not screaming for help, she was just screaming.” 

Why She Took Him Back

Rihanna’s family and friends were all shocked to learn that she had forgiven Chris and the couple had reunited. After experiencing a very public fall out, why would she take him back? The answer is simple: “She loves him,” says a close friend. 

The couple started communicating with each other while Rihanna was in Punta Mita, Mexico with friends celebrating her 21st birthday a few weeks ago, says our source.

One week later they reunited at P.Diddy’s $18 million mansion in Miami to work through their issues. Diddy’s ultra private home served as the ideal meeting spot for the couple, but he was not involved in the reconciliation. Diddy, who was in L.A. at the time, heard that Chris was going to be in Miami “working on music” so he offered up his home. But that was the extend of it. 

Family members and insiders cite the couple’s immaturity, she’s 21 and he’s 19, as the reason for why they fight so often. And the same factor could be used to explain why they are getting back together. Meanwhile, a source close to Rihanna tells Hollyscoop that reports that the couple got married in Miami are “100% false.” She is also not pregnant with his child. 

Ok so are we all caught up.  So what have we learned?  We still don’t know exactly what the hell happened.  Remember the affidavit was just what the police got out of Rihanna.  It was her side of the story we still haven’t heard anything from Chris Brown, no police report with his statements have been released.

This could be a huge threat to the Chris Brown defense.  Rihanna’s lawyers said that if the she is subpoenaed by the DA she will testify in court:

 ”The DAs are facing an uphill battle now if Rihanna isn’t cooperating,” Los Angeles defense lawyer and former prosecutor Steve Sitkoff told People magazine on Friday (March 6) about the alleged victim in the case, who reportedly reunited with Brown last weekend at a home owned by Diddy in Miami. “At this point, her cooperation can make or break the case. But the DAs may not need her if Brown is willing to strike a plea deal.”

When asked if the singer is cooperating with the district attorney’s office, Rihanna lawyer Donald Etra told MTV News, “At this point, she is willing to do anything that the law requires her to do. … If subpoenaed, she will testify.” Asked to confirm reports that the couple have reunited since the alleged February 8 incident, Etra said now is “neither the time nor the place to discuss their relationship.”

Experts told People that prosecutors will almost certainly subpoena Rihanna as a witness but that she cannot be threatened with jail time if she refuses to take the stand.

This is why those rumors of Chris Brown and Rihanna being secretly married are running so strong cause supposedly if they are married Rihanna can not be forced to testify against Chris.  Anyway if Rihanna hits the stand and acknowledges everything in the afadavit to be true, it would be really hard for the Chris to comeback from that.

I have to say after reading the affadavit I can’t even begin to try to defend Chris Brown.  Still him being a first time offender I dont think he deserves jail time but something needs to happen.  That boy needs help and I remember talking to some people close to him and he has never been to kind to female people he messed with.  But he needs help and Rihanna really needs to think about getting back with him.  This is what happened in the court room according to People.com and further down there is a video and the actual affadavit.

A solemn and nervous-looking Chris Brown stood before a Los Angeles Superior Court commissioner Thursday after being charged with felonies in the alleged beating of girlfriend Rihanna. 

Brown, 19, did not enter a plea, and his arraignment was delayed until April 6. But the commissioner issued a protective order against the singer, saying, “Mr. Brown, you are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone.” 

Brown, wearing a gray suit with a white handkerchief, stood next to his attorney Mark Geragos and answered only, “Yes” and “Yes, ma’am,” to Commissioner Kristi Lousteau’s procedural questions. 

Rihanna, 21, did not attend the five-minute session, but her lawyer, Donald Etra, was in court. He did not request a more restrictive order that Brown stay away from her. The couple have reconciled since her alleged beating. 

Asked on the way out of the courtroom how Rihanna was holding up, Etra said, “She’s doing great. She is making sure her rights are being protected at every stage of the proceedings.” As for why Rihanna didn’t want a stay-away order, he said, “She did not feel a stay-away order was necessary.” 

The L.A. District Attorney’s Office announced earlier Thursday that Brown was being charged with two felonies – assault and making criminal threats – in the alleged beating Rihanna last month. 

If convicted, Brown faces anywhere from probation to a maximum four years and eight months in state prison, DA spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons said. 

The formal charges come almost a month after the couple argued early in the morning of Feb. 8, just hours before Rihanna and Brown were both scheduled to perform at the Grammys.

Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies stemming from an argument with his girlfriend, Rihanna, court documents show.

Brown is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon on charges of assault likely to cause great bodily injury and making criminal threats. The 19-year-old R&B singer remains free on $50,000 bail.

The felony complaint handed down in court Thursday morning identifies Brown’s alleged victim only as “Robyn F.” Rihanna’s real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty.

If convicted, the possible sentence ranges anywhere from probation to four years and eight months in state prison, said district attorney’s spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons.

According to a detective’s affidavit, Brown and Rihanna got into a fight early Feb. 8 after the “Umbrella” singer checked her boyfriend’s cell phone and found a text message from another woman.

Brown pulled his car over and tried to push Rihanna out, but she was still wearing her seatbelt, Los Angeles police Detective De Shon Andrews wrote. He said Brown pushed Rihanna’s head against the window, punched her with his right hand, and then continued driving while hitting her, the affidavit states. He also bit his girlfriend on the ear, the affidavit states.

The affidavit was filed as part of a search warrant request for the phone records of Brown, Rihanna and her assistant.

Brown allegedly threatened to kill Rihanna after she pretended to leave a phone message with her assistant, telling her to have the police waiting at her house.

Andrews described Brown’s blows as causing Rihanna’s mouth to fill with blood. He also writes that Brown tried to choke Rihanna after she took the keys to his car away.

Brown was arrested hours later and booked him on suspicion of making criminal threats. Police said at the time a woman identified Brown as her attacker during an early morning dispute in an upscale Los Angeles neighborhood.

I still dont see Chris doing an time behind bars for this incident at all.  But the public beating his image has taken and the money he has already loss is just the beginning of what he has to go through.

Today is a big day for Chris Brown he will be in court later today…

R ‘n’ B singer Chris Brown is due to appear in a Los Angeles court later over his arrest for an alleged assault on his girlfriend Rihanna.

Though the Forever star has yet to be formally charged with any offence, he is required to appear in court based on a date set after his arrest on February 8th.

But word from TMZ.com is that there is some evidence that the District Attorney may have that even if Rihanna doesn’t help the prosecutors they might still be able to charge Brown with something.

LAPD cops interviewed Rihanna after the attack and she told them Brown had been violent toward her in the past and that the attacks were getting “more violent” as time went on. The interview is potent evidence if the L.A. County D.A. charges Brown with felony domestic battery, and that could happen as early as today. 

And there’s something else. The photo that TMZ obtained showing Rihanna battered, bloody and bruised is mild compared to other photos. We’ve learned additional pics were taken on February 9, the day after the attack, and they are far more gruesome — the bruises and swelling far more pronounced. We’re told these photos show injuries that could be devastating in a case against Brown.

I dont know how the other pictures of Rihanna will affect what the prosecution will do but lets remember he is 19 and a first time offender.  I think the worst he gets is probation with more anger management or some other type of counseling.

Well it seems that Rhi Rhi just couldn’t be without her Chrissy-poo.  And that is why they are back together right now.  OK Magazine talked to some people “close” to the situation…

“Sean thinks they’re both good people and knows they love each other,” a friend of Diddy tells OK!. “While he doesn’t condone Chris’s behavior, he believes people make mistakes and that everyone deserves a second chance.”

As part of his promise to reform, the R&B singer enrolled in an anger management course, attending his first class in Glendale, Calif., on Feb. 23.  Says a friend, “He’s the first to admit he f****d up.”

Another insider reveals that Diddy offered his Miami Beach house to both Rihanna and Chris at different times and that Rihanna only agreed to take Diddy up on his offer “when she agreed to meet Chris.”

But why did she accept Chris’s offer of reconciliation? A source who knows the couple tells OK! that Rihanna can be a clingy and possessive girlfriend. “She always has to have Chris around,” says the source. “If he’s with her on a photo shoot and he steps away, she starts saying, ‘where’s Chris?’ If he isn’t with her, she wants to call and check in.”

I think again that we must remember that there are a ton of women who have been through this and have gotten back with the man who has hit them.  This isn’t knew and it is probably harder for them cause this is so public.

Word from Barbados is that Rihanna’s family isn’t happy with the quick reconciliation between Chris and Rihanna.  They tell People.com…

“Everyone wants them to take a break, to cool off,” a relative of Rihanna tells People after the pair returned to Los Angeles together early Monday morning. “No one wants them back together.”

Family thought that the relationship was over after Brown allegedly battered Rihanna on Feb. 8. The couple went their own ways for awhile – he went home, while she recuperated in Barbados and Mexico – but the separation was short-lived. The pair reunited in Miami last weekend, spending time at the Star Island mansion of Sean “Diddy” Combs. A source close to the couple told People that the couple was “definitely together” and working on a reconciliation.

“I’m concerned,” continues the relative. “I don’t want her to make a mistake, and I don’t want her to ever go through this again.”

Ah well again too late.  Let these young people figure this sh*t out between themselves.  

Chris Brown and Rihanna Get Back Together in Miami

It seems that Chris Brown and Rihanna are both in Miami.  And it seems that they are in close proximity to each other.

According to People.com

Pop star Rihanna was going another romantic round with R&B singer boyfriend Chris Brown less than three weeks after he allegedly used her as a punching bag, it was reported Friday. The Barbadian-born beauty – who had hits with “Umbrella” and “Disturbia” – and Brown were cozying up at one of hip-hop honcho Sean (Diddy) Combs’ homes on Miami Beach’s Star Island, People magazine said on its Web site.

“They’re together again. They care for each other,” an unidentified source gushed to the magazine. “While Chris is reflective and saddened about what happened, he is really happy to be with the woman he loves,” the source said.

The relationship apparently started warming up again after Brown called Rihanna last week to wish her a happy 21st birthday. Rihanna then reached out to Brown. “She doesn’t care about her image. She is so in love with that boy that it doesn’t matter,” said a source.

 

Brown, 19, has been lavishing Rihanna with jewels, designer shoes, a handbag and the video game “Guitar Hero” in an effort to make up. “It doesn’t matter what he buys her, though,” said the source. “She loves him. For his part, he knows he screwed up and he is going to try like hell to make sure it doesn’t happen again.”

Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, said he’s OK with them getting back together.”I love my daughter with whatever road she takes. I’m behind her win or lose. I will be supportive,” Fenty told Us Weekly magazine’s Web site from his home in Barbados.

Man this whole thing is beginning to get phony as hell to me.  I still believe that Rihanna and Chris Brown are puppets being controlled by PR people that are in the middle of their business partnership relationship.  This story needs to die.

Cam’ron and Jim Jones Have a Brief Talk on the Phone

Cam’ron and Jim Jones have been on the outs for a few years and it got really bad last year when Jones joined 50 Cent on stage while Cam’ron and 50 were beefing.  Jones had said in the past that he would like to put this mess in the past but Cam said that the 50 incident was too much to come back from.

Well it seems that while Cam’ron was calling the Diplomats’ Freekey Zekey Jim Jones answered the phone.  This is what Cam’ron told MTV.com about the conversation.

This song was actually dropped from Flo Rida’s album because of the the whole Rihanna incident…

“I recorded a great song with Chris,” Flo Rida said in an interview. “But I won’t be releasing it now because of what’s going on with him and Rihanna. It could have been my next number one.” (Hollyscoop)

Man Flo Rida dropping Chris Brown off his album are you serious?!?!?  I can understand not making it your next single but dropping the whole song off the album isn’t really necessary.  Check it out and let me know what yall think.
